An official after action report prepared by General Finegan dated Febrary 26, 1864, described the military operations in East Florida from February 7-22, 1864, during the Olustee campaign. Callie Stone's work consists of holographic and typescript copies of a diary kept by "C.M.S." (believed to be Miss Callie M. Stone) regarding her work as a member of the Sanitary Commission teaching German, French, and African American recruits at the Draft Rendezvous in Boston Harbor, June to November, 1864.
